Free breast cancer awareness pantographs: ribbons and boobies
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Two free edge-to-edge designs for awareness, charity and survivor quilts: a row of awareness ribbons, and a cheekier "boobies" design. Both come in every computerized longarm format plus a paper pantograph to print at home.
Quilting it
- Thread: pink on white or grey reads instantly as an awareness quilt; white on pink is subtler.
- Which one: the ribbons suit hospital and charity quilts; the boobies are for survivors with a sense of humour and gag gifts.
- Size: the ribbons are a 12 in repeat with 4 in rows; the boobies a 13 in repeat with rows about 3¼ in tall. Open either in PantoMaker to make it bigger or smaller, change the row spacing, or offset every other row.
- Where it works: charity and hospital quilts, survivor gifts, guild awareness challenges, and cheeky gag gifts.

Test before a customer quilt
Every quilting system reads files a little differently. Load the design, check the size your machine shows, and stitch a test row on scrap fabric first. If something looks wrong, email support@pantomaker.com with your machine and software.
